ABOUT US

The humble beginnings of the Al – ansaar foundation saw the opening of a hifz class with six dedicated students in 2018. The worry and concern of the founding members saw the opening of its first maktab class in Eldo Glen with 5 students.

Today, Alhamdu lillah, the organisation has grown with the help of Allah Ta’ala and it now runs four Makatib and sees to the Islamic needs of 86 learners.

In keeping with the demands of the modern learner, the organisation has a full time supervisor who assess the Makatib and provides insight and support to the teachers. The supervisor addresses the challenges and provides solutions to some of the most complex situations.

The Al – Ansaar foundation strives to provide a holistic package to its learners. Catering for their Islamic needs as well as their societal needs and providing guidance to their challenges.

In extending it’s reach, the Al – Ansaar foundation also sees to the financial needs of the community. From simple soup kitchens and grocery hampers to assisting those in dire need of more.

There is a great need in our area to carry on establishing more makatib (Afternoon Madressas) which been said cannot be done without the assistance of our community.We also intend stretching across the continent and establishing makatib in some of thee most needed west African countries.
